Customer Assistant – Boucher Road

About the role

Lidl is looking for enthusiastic Customer Assistants to join the team at its Boucher Road store. You will help create a smooth, friendly shopping experience for every customer while working flexible part‑time or full‑time hours.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves and prepare bakery items before opening.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented store and ensure product freshness.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, answer queries and operate tills efficiently.
• Follow stock‑loss controls, waste management procedures and product rotation guidelines.
• Support stock‑count processes and restock items throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong customer‑service focus.
• Reliability and willingness to go the extra mile for shoppers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, varied retail environment.
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues.
• Must be 18 years or older to sell alcohol.

• £13.30 per hour (rising to £14.80 after three years) with additional unsocial‑hour and overtime rates.
