About the role

The CSSD Supervisor/Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering holistic, person‑centred nursing care within Netcare Linmed Hospital. Working as a clinical resource, the role coordinates patient care across multidisciplinary teams and ensures adherence to nursing standards and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and document individualized nursing care for patients, families and the community.
Act as a clinical resource, supporting staff in delivering high‑quality care and maintaining accurate records.
Facilitate communication between nursing management, unit staff, patients and families to resolve care issues.
Initiate and lead emergency treatment (RESUS) across hospital wards as required.
Ensure compliance with nursing theories, standards, and medical direction in all activities.

Required profile

Registered Nurse (R/N) with PB qualification.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team.
Strong understanding of holistic nursing care, patient advocacy and emergency response.
Commitment to a 12‑month fixed‑term engagement.
