CRG Operations Assistant

About the role

Join the Woolworths CRG Brooklyn Retail team as an Operations Assistant, supporting smooth store operations, safety, hygiene and stock management in a busy corporate store environment. You will interact with customers, handle stock processes and ensure a clean, efficient shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, delivering exceptional service.
• Perform store operational activities in line with company policies, maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
• Receive, check, store and dispatch goods accurately, following stock procedures.
• Keep the sales floor and back‑room clean, orderly and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to attendance, dress code and time‑keeping requirements.
• Identify and report any dishonesty or shrinkage according to corporate procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate daily operational objectives.
• Apply basic selling skills and product knowledge to assist customers.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification.
• Proven ability to provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Experience in retail or FMCG environments, preferably in stockroom or receiving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisational and planning abilities to prioritise tasks.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and error minimisation.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
• Commitment to honesty, reliability and ethical standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and follow safety regulations.
