Credit Controller – Property Management

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join a well‑established property company in Pretoria. The role focuses on managing debtor accounts for rental, levy, utility and other property‑related invoices, ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of debtor accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
• Follow up on overdue tenant, rental, levy, utility and other property‑related accounts.
• Allocate payments and reconcile debtor accounts accurately.
• Investigate and resolve account queries and disputes.
• Issue statements, reminder notices and demand letters.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date debtor records.
• Monitor ageing reports and take appropriate action to reduce outstanding debt.
• Prepare and submit regular collection and arrears reports to management.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• 3–5 years of credit control experience.
• Previous experience in property management or development is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with MDA or other property management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
