Credit Controller

About the role

Join Tiger Consumer Brands as a Credit Controller and play a pivotal part in safeguarding the company’s cash flow. You will manage the bakery’s credit control function, oversee collections, and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce credit policies to minimise bad debts.
• Prepare and review month‑end General Ledger reconciliations and manual journal entries under accountant guidance.
• Conduct credit evaluations, ensure compliance with bakery SOPs, and support audit processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and the national office on credit assurance.
• Review weekly promotional activities and monthly trade‑spend claims for accuracy.
• Produce regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow, and credit performance; analyse ageing reports and identify payment trends.
• Initiate legal recovery actions when necessary, adhering to company policy and legal requirements.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Credit Management.
• 3‑5 years of experience in FMCG credit control or related finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
