Credit Controller - 6 Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

The Credit Controller will support the company’s cash‑flow by ensuring timely invoicing, accurate allocation of payments, and effective management of overdue accounts. This six‑month fixed‑term position is essential for meeting collection targets and minimising credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and dispatch invoices or proof‑of‑delivery documents on schedule.
• Receive and allocate remittance advices, process discounts and rebates, and clear cash in the General Ledger.
• Prepare stock tolerance journals and GL accounts for authorisation before month‑end.
• Run customer statements in SAP, distribute them, and monitor 60‑day‑plus transactions.
• Maintain compliance with credit limits, flag potential breaches, and liaise with customers on balances and credit‑limit adjustments.
• Process “stop supply” instructions in SAP and communicate account status internally.
• Investigate pricing and stock claims, obtain authorisations, and ensure proper documentation in SAP.
• Manage invalid claims by providing required proof to customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control, invoicing, and customer administration.
• Strong understanding of credit limits, collection processes, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
