Crane Technician – Cape Town – R200 per hour

About the role
RS Recruitment Services is partnering with a leading lifting‑equipment company to hire a Crane Technician for its Cape Town operation. The role offers an approximate rate of R200 per hour (CTC) on a 40‑hour week with occasional overtime and includes standard benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Replace defective crane components and perform routine cleaning.
- Test machinery and conduct full overhauls of crane systems.
- Maintain track cranes and produce detailed technical reports.
- Inspect and verify crane safety systems in accordance with regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Crane Technician.
- Hands‑on experience with overhead and gantry cranes.
- Electrical or Millwright qualification, or equivalent.
- LMI certification is an advantage.
