Country Manager

About the role

AlphaESS is seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead its business development and market expansion in South Africa. You will be the face of the brand, responsible for building sales channels, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving growth in a competitive renewable‑energy market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage healthy product sales channels and networks across South Africa, maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.
• Design and implement a customer service system, building and leading a service team to achieve high installer satisfaction and meet the BU GM’s service targets.
• Provide up‑to‑date market intelligence reports and proposals to support strategic decisions with the BU GM and headquarters.
• Achieve and exceed KPIs and sales targets, overseeing all sales orders and accounts receivable.
• Act as AlphaESS brand ambassador, upholding company values and promoting brand visibility.
• Create and execute marketing plans in collaboration with the HQ marketing team to strengthen brand presence.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and support the BU GM in strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate regulations and workflows while providing dedicated support to achieve business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales management, or market leadership, preferably in the energy or renewable‑energy sector.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills with channel partners and customers.
• Leadership ability to build, motivate, and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to produce market intelligence and strategic recommendations.
• High level of integrity, commitment to corporate policies, and ability to represent the brand positively.
