About the role
We are looking for an outgoing Counter & Parts Sales Representative to join a leading energy solutions branch in Lanseria. The role combines face‑to‑face customer interaction, product advice and inventory handling, with a performance‑based salary and commission.
Key responsibilities
- Greet walk‑in customers, answer product queries and advise on part selection and maintenance.
- Execute over‑the‑counter parts sales to meet and exceed targets.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensure accurate stock display.
- Inspect returned parts, resolve defects and handle customer complaints.
- Record customer information accurately in the POS/computer system and maintain a clean showroom.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in counter sales, parts sales or similar retail role.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Interest in electrical or engine parts is advantageous.
- Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics (C+ preferred).
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
