Cost Controller – Operations Administration

About the role

This position supports the Team Lead in driving purchase‑order controls that align with Brambles’ governance policies. The incumbent manages transactional purchase‑order generation for regional service centres, ensuring timely procurement, accurate financial reporting and compliance with audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders accurately and on time, including contract POs, automated plant expenses and rate cards.
• Validate GL and cost‑centre selections, verify quantities, prices and tax types, and resolve GRNI queries.
• Run and analyse reports (Open Orders, Pending Action, GRNI) to monitor goods receipt, invoice matching and PO status, coaching creators where needed.
• Support vendors with Coupa Supplier Enablement, review invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
• Maintain oversight of general and CAPEX purchase orders, ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements, and provide audit support.
• Assist with asset documentation, CAPEX order preparation, asset tagging, inventory list updates and company‑vehicle administration.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or Matric with 5‑8 years of administrative experience, including stock‑control and high‑pressure environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using SAP and/or Coupa.
• Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills; proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
