Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s finance function by providing financial expertise that enables the implementation of brand service strategies while maximising return on investment. This full‑time, onsite role is based at Summit Place Precinct in Menlyn, Pretoria.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and market trends to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Assist in forecasting sales, preparing annual budgets and monitoring actual performance against forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain accurate profit‑and‑loss statements and ensure timely reporting.
• Lead accounting activities, enforce internal controls and manage audit processes.
• Oversee tax compliance, ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present financial reports, presentations and other documentation for senior management.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
