Copywriter – Brand & Advertising

About the role

AVBOB is seeking a creative Copywriter to join its Brand and Advertising team. You will craft and refine compelling content across a variety of marketing channels, helping shape the voice of one of South Africa’s most trusted brands.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and write persuasive copy for brochures, websites, social media, catalogues, posters, press ads and internal communications.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative campaign concepts.
• Conduct research to support and strengthen copywriting content.
• Maintain brand consistency and quality control across all advertising materials.
• Write, edit, proofread and refine promotional materials, advertorials and digital marketing copy.
• Create localized social media content highlighting community impact at branch level.
• Update website content to reflect current campaigns and initiatives.
• Review external contributions for brand and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor social media platforms to enhance brand positioning and product visibility.
• Support content strategies for emerging digital platforms and assist with quarterly internal magazine proofreading.
