About the role
Legal practice is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary to provide secretarial support and administrative duties for Directors and Associates. The role manages the administration infrastructure within the practice and ensures efficient, effective processes and systems are in place.
Key responsibilities
- Run conveyancing files from inception to closure.
- Handle sectional and conventional transfers, including rates, SARS and related elements.
- Process bond cancellation instructions, prepare consents to cancel and verify guarantees.
- Open and close files using the CMS/Management System.
- Manage financial aspects of transfers and bond cancellations, including billing and statement preparation.
Required profile
- Grade 12 certificate and a recognised secretarial certificate or diploma.
- Minimum six years of relevant experience in conveyancing administration.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
