Conveyancing Secretary – Property Transfers

About the role

A well‑established law firm in Randburg is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to manage property transfer and bond cancellation matters, with a focus on distressed property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle transfer registrations and related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with bank processing guidelines.
• Liaise with banks, clients, and attorneys to facilitate transfers and bond cancellations.
• Prepare and manage transfer and cancellation documents and securities efficiently.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with transfer and bond cancellation matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Conveyancing Secretary, especially in distressed property transfers.
• Familiarity with ABSA Help‑U‑Sell, ABSA Sheriff, ABSA legal bond cancellations, Standard Bank EasySell, and liquidation transfers.
• Ability to work accurately under bank and legal compliance requirements.
