Content Marketer – Fintech (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Content Marketer to join a fast‑scaling fintech environment. Based in South Africa and working in a remote‑first team, you will craft compelling narratives that simplify complex payments topics and drive measurable commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality assets aligned with marketing priorities.
• Research, write, and publish content across formats such as blogs, guides, case studies, newsletters, social media, and campaign assets.
• Translate intricate fintech and payments concepts into clear, audience‑relevant storytelling.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market content plans in partnership with Demand Generation to support product launches and campaigns.
• Distribute and repurpose content across LinkedIn, email, and other digital platforms to maximize reach.
• Analyze performance data and audience insights to refine strategy and improve engagement.
• Experiment with new formats, messaging, and distribution approaches, leveraging AI tools and automation to boost creation speed and scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of content marketing experience in fast‑paced B2B or B2C technology environments.
• Strong editorial ability to simplify and humanise technical or financial topics.
• Proven track record of taking content from idea to publication with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of how content fuels audience growth, demand generation, and business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in agile, high‑performance teams with shifting priorities.
