Construction Structural Supervisor

About the role

Mining & Minerals is looking for an experienced Structural Construction Supervisor to join the Khoemacau Expansion Project in Botswana. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee all structural construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets are met within a mining and minerals processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce project HSE policies, identify hazards and ensure risk treatment plans are applied.
• Liaise with Site Quality Coordinator and Site Engineering to maintain work quality and resolve technical queries.
• Interpret engineering drawings, prepare field sketches of revisions, and review design and vendor drawings for interferences.
• Inspect contractor work, monitor material and equipment installation, and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Manage subcontractor interpretation of drawings, specifications and schedules, and report equipment defects.
• Prepare and close construction punch lists, record pre‑commissioning and commissioning test data, and maintain “as‑built” documentation.
• Track bills of materials, cost and quantity information, and support progress measurement and claim defence.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising structural construction on mining or minerals processing projects.
• Eligibility to work in Botswana (Botswana citizenship required).
• Ability to work onsite in a demanding construction environment.
