Construction Readiness Coordinator

About the role

The Construction Readiness Coordinator ensures that projects are fully prepared for safe, efficient fabrication, assembly, construction and commissioning. Acting as the integration point across Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Material Control, Production and Construction, the role identifies and removes barriers before they affect delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain execution‑readiness plans, define readiness gates and track progress against integrated schedules.
• Verify that engineering deliverables, IFC documentation and discipline interfaces are released on time and meet project requirements.
• Monitor procurement activities, ensure long‑lead items and critical equipment are available, and flag risks that could impact fabrication or construction.
• Confirm that fabrication work packs, drawings, specifications and quality documents are complete before work commences.
• Manage inter‑departmental dependencies, escalate interface issues and drive closure of actions that threaten execution readiness.
• Maintain a live execution‑readiness risk register and facilitate mitigation planning.
