Construction Project Manager – Cold Storage & Pack House

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the design and construction of cold storage, pack house and related facilities for the fruit industry. You will own each project from the first client conversation through to final handover, managing multiple sites and stages simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans from client brief to execution.
• Coordinate appointment of professional teams in consultation with clients and stakeholders.
• Set up and manage communication and project‑management systems.
• Manage design development, keeping budget and timeline on track.
• Facilitate integration across disciplines and supply contracts.
• Monitor change management, tender processes and contractor appointments.
• Prepare and administer contracts, including JBCC administration.
• Ensure health and safety, procurement and statutory compliance.
• Monitor on‑site construction progress, quality and reporting.
• Lead site meetings, project handover and final account close‑out.
• Contribute to internal project coordination across the group of companies.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture (any university).
• 3–5 years of full project‑lifecycle management experience in construction or facility design.
• Proven experience with tender processes and contract administration (JBCC).
• Ability to manage up to five concurrent projects at different stages.
