Compliance Junior Manager

About the role

Prime SA is seeking a Compliance Junior Manager to lead a team of compliance professionals and ensure robust risk management across its motor insurance business. The role combines oversight of compliance programmes with close partnership with operational leaders to embed sustainable controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of compliance professionals, ensuring high‑quality reviews and monitoring.
• Oversee the Annual Compliance Plan, allocating resources, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Identify, assess, prioritise and address significant compliance, legal, operational and governance risks.
• Review audit and testing work, analyse findings and ensure appropriate escalation of risks.
• Govern corrective‑action processes, challenge overdue items and report residual risk exposure.
• Collaborate with business leaders to implement controls, improve processes and respond to emerging risk trends.
• Prepare detailed management reports on compliance performance, audit outcomes and risk trends, providing practical recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, risk management or related regulatory functions.
• Strong analytical abilities and a track record of driving risk‑reduction initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management and influencing operational teams.
• Ability to lead and develop a small team of professionals.
