Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Community Manager to help a UK‑based brand build and nurture online communities. This fully remote position is ideal for a South African professional comfortable working across time zones with UK teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activity on social media channels and community platforms.
• Handle community queries, comments and moderation in a timely, brand‑aligned manner.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders across different time zones.
• Maintain accurate records of community metrics, engagement data and content calendars.
• Utilise scheduling, forum and analytics tools to optimise community performance.
• Support content creation, campaign launches and community events.
• Identify growth opportunities to increase engagement and strengthen brand loyalty.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in community management, social media or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Experience with UK‑based clients is a plus.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection and a quiet work environment.
