Community and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

As a Community & Marketing Coordinator you will be the heartbeat of campus life, bringing students together, creating engaging content and ensuring every student feels part of the CampusKey family. The role blends event management, social media stewardship and on‑site community building in a fast‑paced, student‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute social, wellness, sport, kindness and workshop events for students.
• Lead and support mentor programmes and build strong student relationships through wellbeing initiatives.
• Manage daily student communications via WhatsApp, email and direct messages.
• Run campus‑level Instagram and TikTok accounts, creating and posting content, engaging followers and supporting central campaigns.
• Capture photo and video content, maintain campus signage, posters and digital visibility.
• Support Living & Learning and “Go Change the World” programmes and collaborate with local brands.
• Ensure campus website information is up‑to‑date and assist with digital marketing insights.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using Canva and basic design tools.
• Strong command of English and Afrikaans (additional language a plus).
• Valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Hands‑on experience with Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Ability to capture and edit photo/video content.
• Knowledge of social media management and digital marketing basics.
