Community Advisor – Alternative Channels

About the role

The Community Advisor – Alternative Channels will join FNB's Points of Presence team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will proactively understand client needs, recommend tailored financial solutions, and guide customers toward digital and self‑service channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized product recommendations and direct customers to eChannels and self‑service options.
• Ensure all interactions comply with FNB policies, processes, and service standards.
• Educate clients on the most suitable banking platforms for their needs.
• Analyse customer data to suggest appropriate solutions and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver service with empathy and professionalism.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
• Work on a shift schedule as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; NQF Level 5 preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in customer‑facing roles within financial services.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confidence guiding customers to digital and self‑service solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to processes.
• Effective organisational, planning, and time‑management skills.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and continuous personal development.
