About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join its team in Potchefstroom. The role champions customers' lifetime goals by identifying their financial needs, giving sound financial advice and recommending and implementing fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. It is based on working mainly on your own leads.

Key responsibilities

Procure new business
Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
Identify financial needs and provide sound financial advice
Recommend and implement fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions

Required profile

NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit

Required skills

Sales and selling: consultative selling, direct selling, strategic selling, building trust, strengthening customer relationships
Customer focus: understanding prospects, qualifying them, customer service
Communication: oral communication, probing questions, effective communication
Sales data management and sales software
