Commission-Based Sales Agent – Short-Term Insurance

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Agent to represent Global Direct in Benoni CBD and sell short‑term insurance products from The Unlimited. The position is fully commission‑based, offering flexible hours and the chance to build your own client base.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on leads and prospects.
• Present The Unlimited’s short‑term insurance products professionally.
• Close sales and complete accurate application paperwork.
• Build and maintain client relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
• Meet individual sales targets and report activity as required.

Required profile

• At least 50 % average in matric (NQF 4) or any higher qualification (NQF 5+).
• Proven sales ability or strong motivation to sell; insurance or related sales experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Reliable transport for local client visits.
• Basic smartphone with ability to use simple sales/admin apps.
• South African work authorization.
