Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

E‑Xhale is seeking a senior Commercial Operations Manager to drive end‑to‑end commercial performance across South Africa and the broader Southern Africa region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will own sales operations, national distribution, P&L management and the growth of key B2B accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a structured sales process from lead generation to account retention.
• Own the CRM system, ensuring data integrity, pipeline visibility and accurate stage management.
• Develop and maintain sales reporting frameworks and provide timely commercial intelligence to senior leadership.
• Oversee national store distribution, creating reliable delivery schedules to eliminate stock‑outs and reduce over‑supply.
• Monitor fulfilment performance, proof of delivery and resolve short‑delivery issues.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities within the distribution network without compromising service levels.
• Assume full ownership of the commercial P&L, monitoring revenue, margin and cost performance against budget.
• Provide accurate revenue forecasting aligned with monthly and quarterly financial planning cycles.

Required profile

• Senior commercial operator with a proven track record in sales operations and distribution management.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L for a business unit.
• Ability to build operational infrastructure and drive process improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of cultivating strategic client relationships.
• Willingness to travel nationally and cross‑border as required.
