Commercial Operations and Finance Lead

About the role

The Commercial Operations and Finance Lead will shape the financial and operational foundation of Counterweight as it expands into a multi‑product digital health platform. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership, you will translate complex clinical and operational processes into clear unit economics to enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and refine financial models for new and existing digital health products.
• Analyse revenue streams, cost drivers and margins to support commercial decisions.
• Lead scenario planning, forecasting and budgeting cycles.
• Identify key performance drivers and profitability thresholds across services.
• Conduct activity‑based costing for clinical, coaching and support functions.
• Partner with the Operations Lead to drive process efficiencies and cost‑to‑serve insights.
• Design and implement reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI tracking systems.
• Provide forward‑looking financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior team.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proactive, comfortable building systems from first principles in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience partnering across operations, clinical delivery and product teams.
• Track record of moving organisations toward a data‑driven culture.
• Ambition to grow into senior leadership roles such as COO or CFO.
