The company is a leading industrial solutions provider seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive growth of its water treatment and chemical solutions portfolio across South Africa. The role combines product strategy, commercial expansion, and sales leadership with a strong focus on customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy for water treatment products and solutions.
• Drive market growth and customer engagement initiatives nationwide.
• Manage and expand key client relationships.
• Support product development and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, supply chain, and sales teams.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the sales team.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in water treatment, industrial chemicals, or related sectors.
• Strong commercial and key‑account management experience.
• Technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment solutions.
• Experience leading or supporting sales teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking capability.
• Commercially driven with a strong customer focus.
