Commercial Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to lead high‑value commercial projects for a market‑leading provider of equipment and technology to the mining, construction and heavy‑industrial sectors. The role will combine commercial expertise, financial acumen and strong negotiation skills to drive growth and profitability across complex, project‑driven contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial activities across large‑scale project contracts.
• Drive tender management, develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
• Assess commercial risk and ensure profitable, compliant contract execution.
• Partner with operational teams to maximise project performance and financial outcomes.
• Manage budgets, reporting and strategic commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum BCom degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in a commercial role within a project‑driven environment such as mining, engineering, construction or manufacturing.
• Proven track record in tender management and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen, pricing, budgeting and stakeholder management.

• SAP (advantageous)
