Commercial Inbound Sales Advisor

About the role

OUTsurance, a South African insurer founded 28 years ago and named Top Employer South Africa in 2022, is hiring a Commercial Inbound Sales Advisor in Centurion. The role involves selling new business products to prospective clients within the call centre. The position suits a driven, goal-oriented person with good communication skills and the ability to multi-task.

Key responsibilities

• Sell new business products to prospective clients through the call centre.
• Work in a demanding, quick-turnaround environment and deliver results on time.
• Plan and organise your own work and work well as a team member.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric qualification or equivalent.
• FAIS accreditation is essential for those who worked in financial services before December 2010; RE5 is preferred.
• 2 years of insurance sales experience preferred.
• Previous call centre sales experience preferred.
• Experience in the short-term insurance industry is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Selling and negotiating skills.
• Computer literacy; tertiary or call centre qualification advantageous.
• Problem solving, attention to detail, initiative and stress tolerance.
