Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Pay@ is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support its development and production environments. The role focuses on AWS‑based infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux system administration.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain development and production environments.
• Support engineers in managing AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts.
• Write and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code under guidance and code review.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, investigate alerts, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Perform routine Linux server administration, including patching, log inspection, and configuration.
• Assist with infrastructure security reviews and routine system audits.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and processes.
• Provide 3rd‑line support for system‑related issues.

Required profile

• Tertiary or equivalent training in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or systems administration.
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Git and pull‑request workflows.
• Foundational understanding of AWS cloud platforms.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, subnets, routing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
