Cloud Architect – Enterprise Cloud Strategy Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of our enterprise cloud strategy. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, engineering teams, and cybersecurity specialists to deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud solutions that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise cloud architecture standards, principles, and reference models.
• Define and execute cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with business and technology goals.
• Design secure, highly available, resilient, and cost‑optimized cloud solutions for applications, data platforms, AI, and digital initiatives.
• Lead migration projects from on‑premises infrastructure to public cloud platforms.
• Establish cloud governance frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust, identity management, encryption, and other cloud security controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and automation tools.
• Promote DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and FinOps initiatives.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams on cloud architecture principles.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and communicate architectural strategies clearly.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in hybrid or multi‑cloud environments.
