Clinical Technologist – Renal

About the role
Our client, a private hospital in Worcester, Western Cape, is seeking qualified Clinical Technologists with renal experience to work temporary shifts. The role focuses on delivering safe, comprehensive care for patients with renal disease, in line with the Scope of Practice and Renal Care policies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with a multi‑professional team, focusing on renal disease treatment and education.
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all patient interventions.
- Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
Required profile
- Immediate availability for shift work.
- Approximately 1–2 years of dialysis experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Clinical Technology (Nephrology).
- Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice).
