Clinical Technician Intern – Urology Hospital

About the role

The Urology Hospital is inviting applications for a 12-month Clinical Technician Intern position. The intern reports to the Senior Clinical Engineer and works on planned maintenance and repairs within the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Identify maintenance risks and implement controls
• Carry out daily checklists according to policy and procedures
• Ensure daily compliance with the maintenance protocol
• Complete order forms with quotations attached for items to be ordered
• Complete job cards quickly and efficiently and communicate jobs and paintwork regularly
• Ensure work meets the highest standard of the hospital and complies with health and safety standards
• Assess tool requirements before each job and use them correctly
• Report problems, rework and quality failures as per procedure

Required profile

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Clinical Engineering or similar

Required skills

• Computer literacy
