Clinical Nurse – Part‑time Aged Care

About the role

BlueCare is seeking a part‑time Clinical Nurse to join its Capricorn Aged Care Facility in Yeppoon. You will provide expert clinical leadership and support to care staff, ensuring resident‑centred, high‑quality care that meets accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and advise on complex resident care needs, contributing to care planning and funding optimisation.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and support ACFI assessments.
• Mentor and supervise care staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative care environment.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditation standards, and clinical governance requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and workplace health and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
