Clinical Facilitator – Agency (Cape Town)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Facilitator to join our agency team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for assessing nursing competencies, delivering on‑site training, and supporting the professional development of healthcare staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competency assessments, on‑site orientation and continuous evaluations of nursing staff.
• Identify learning needs and develop tailored educational materials and strategies.
• Design and deliver workshops, case‑study sessions and hands‑on training for all nursing ranks.
• Provide mentorship, feedback and ongoing support to healthcare professionals.
• Stay current with evidence‑based guidelines and best practices to keep training content up‑to‑date.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance and participant evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a professional nurse.
• Post‑graduate diploma (advantageous) and proven experience as a Clinical Facilitator or Clinical Educator.
• Strong clinical background and expertise in the healthcare field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency with specialized clinical equipment and computer‑based learning tools.
