Clinical Application Support Specialist

About the role

The Clinical Application Support Specialist will support the rollout of the Care On platform across Netcare hospitals. Working closely with nursing and pharmacy teams, the role ensures the new system is adopted smoothly and enhances the efficiency and quality of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate adoption and operationalisation of the Care On clinical application in daily practice.
• Provide first‑line support to nursing and pharmacy end‑users, answering queries and troubleshooting issues.
• Arrange and deliver training sessions for super users and clinical staff.
• Escalate unresolved problems to technical teams and follow up on resolutions.
• Collaborate with project and stakeholder teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work shifts, including weekends, and travel to multiple hospital sites as the rollout progresses.

Required profile

• Experience supporting clinical or healthcare applications.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends.
• Willingness to travel between hospital locations.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between end‑users and technical teams.
