Client Service Consultant – RE5 Required

About the role

This position focuses on delivering exceptional service to clients by providing timely, accurate, and professional support across all customer interactions. You will handle policy servicing requests, resolve queries, manage amendments, and ensure every interaction reflects the company’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient, and customer‑focused service across all client interactions.
• Handle inbound and outbound enquiries on policies, premiums, benefits, amendments and general servicing requests.
• Process policy amendments and other servicing requests accurately within agreed service levels.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate clients on products, policy benefits and processes.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in CRM and policy administration systems.
• Monitor and manage customer cases through to resolution, providing regular updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and escalate recurring issues.
• Ensure all interactions comply with FAIS, TCF, POPIA and other regulatory requirements.
• Meet individual and team SLAs, quality standards and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Matric (essential) and RE5 qualification (essential).
• FAIS‑compliant qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in client service, retentions or sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
