Client Relationship Manager

About the role

The Client Relationship Manager will be the primary point of contact for private clients and intermediaries, ensuring high‑quality service and long‑term relationship retention. This full‑time position is based in Pretoria and requires a strong background in the investment industry.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional long‑term relationships with private clients and intermediaries.
• Serve as the main contact for client enquiries, requests and service‑related matters.
• Provide accurate, professional and timely feedback to clients, intermediaries and colleagues.
• Coordinate and follow up on client instructions, investment administration and outstanding documentation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing servicing of private clients.
• Ensure client information, records and documentation are complete, accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Liaise with internal investment, administration, compliance and operational teams to resolve client matters.
• Manage multiple priorities and client requests in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory awareness.
• Identify service issues, take ownership of queries and drive matters to resolution.
• Assist with client communications, reports, correspondence and practice administration as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the investment industry.
• Solid experience in stockbroking, wealth management, private client investments or a closely related environment.
• Proven client servicing and relationship management experience.
• Highly proficient in written and spoken Afrikaans and English.
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients, intermediaries and colleagues.
• Track record as a Client Relationship Manager or in a similar client‑service role.
• Based in Pretoria or willing to relocate.
