Client Relationship Manager – Durban

About the role

The Client Relationship Manager will own the end‑to‑end resolution of technical and complex client queries, escalations and complaints for Old Mutual’s Retirement Fund Administration business. Based in Durban, the role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries while ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical and complex client queries or complaints and see them through to completion.
• Work across organisational boundaries to facilitate problem resolution and manage escalations.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and outcomes in the relevant systems.
• Provide superior service by applying strong analytical and logical reasoning.
• Stay updated on pension fund legislation, product knowledge and industry trends.

Required profile

• Matric or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in financial services as a client relationship manager, or a recent graduate with relevant exposure.
• Self‑motivated, action‑oriented with high energy and confidence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and organise effectively.
