Client Relationship Consultant – FinTech

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Client Relationship Consultant to join a fast‑growing fintech that helps South African SMEs access funding. The role is based in Cape Town and focuses on building trust‑based relationships with business owners, guiding them through our online application journey and turning great service into long‑term loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with SME owners.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients.
• Guide customers through the online funding application process.
• Follow up on inbound leads and nurture prospects to drive repeat business.
• Manage client interactions via phone, email and live chat.
• Utilise CRM and analytics tools to monitor and support the customer journey.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with fluent English.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems.
• Confident, professional and customer‑focused.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to engage with business owners.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and resourceful.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms.
