Client Liaison Officer – Financial Services (Cape Town)

About the role

The financial services provider is seeking a Client Liaison Officer to join its dynamic team in Cape Town. This permanent position focuses on managing client relationships, driving business development and ensuring compliance within the wealth‑management and employee benefits space.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow parastatal client accounts while maintaining strong compliance standards.
• Develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and targeted sales activities.
• Provide high‑level customer care and act as the primary point of contact for multi‑level stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee key account management, balancing a portfolio of diverse client needs.

Required profile

• Minimum matriculation; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• RE5 certification and NQF Level 5 qualification, plus relevant class‑of‑business certification for health and medical‑aid products.
• At least 5 years experience in financial services/wealth management and 3 years focused on employee benefits such as medical aid, pension funds and group life plans.
• Proven track record in business development, target‑driven environments and key‑account management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Strong report‑writing ability.
