Client Intake & Insurance Verification Agent – Remote

About the role

This newly structured position supports a US‑based ABA therapy provider. You will be the first point of contact for families beginning their ABA journey, handling intake calls, insurance verification, and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from parents/guardians and follow the company phone call guide.
• Conduct intake calls, explain services, collect client, guardian, medical and insurance information.
• Send intake packets, track completion, and follow up with families.
• Verify insurance benefits, including Medicaid MCO plans, with insurers.
• Coordinate with doctors’ offices for referrals, diagnosis reports and other medical documentation.
• Review client documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Create and maintain organized client folders in SharePoint.
• Log communications, outcomes and next steps in the tracking spreadsheet/CRM.
• Assist with general office administration tasks as the role evolves.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office or insurance‑related environment.
• Familiarity with patient/client intake processes and insurance/benefits verification.
• Calm, confident phone manner and strong organizational skills.
