Client Accountant – SAIPA (Cape Town)

About the role

Join a globally recognised multi‑family office and wealth advisory business as a SAIPA Client Accountant. You will support sophisticated high‑net‑worth clients by maintaining accurate accounting records and delivering high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records through to trial balance for trusts and companies.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs.
• Manage tax compliance and produce statutory financial reports.
• Generate financial reports for client meetings and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, administrators and international colleagues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Organised, detail‑focused accounting professional with strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• BCom Accounting degree with completed SAIPA Articles and professional examination.
• Experience with trusts, company structures and tax compliance.
• Registration as a Tax Practitioner or willingness to complete the SARS readiness programme is advantageous.
