Cleaner – Office Maintenance

About the role

This role ensures a clean, safe and hygienic workplace by performing daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks across office areas. The cleaner will maintain order, manage waste and report any maintenance issues to keep the environment fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting office spaces and toilets.
• Sanitise surfaces, furniture, walls, doors, windowsills and interior windows.
• Empty and manage waste bins and refill bathroom supplies (soap, paper).
• Wash curtains and cleaning cloths as required.
• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure consumables are available.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as kitchens and break rooms.
• Report maintenance or plumbing issues to the relevant personnel.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to keep the workplace organised and presentable.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Rigorous technical cleaning abilities.
• Ability to safely handle chemical cleaning products.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable and own transport.
• Ability to work independently and follow health and safety guidelines.
