Civil Site Technician/Supervisor/Foreman

About the role

A leading group of civil construction companies in Wellington is seeking an experienced Civil Site Technician/Supervisor/Foreman to oversee daily site operations, manage labour crews, and ensure that earthworks, concrete, and road works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to exact specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Implement and enforce health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a civil site technician, supervisor or foreman role.
• Proven ability to lead construction teams on pipelines, earthworks, roads and concrete works.
• Knowledge of South African construction standards (SANS 1200).
• Basic civil surveying and setting‑out competence.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code EB+).

What we offer

• Competitive total cash compensation ranging from R350 000 to R500 000 per year.
