Cellular Consultant (2IC)

About the role

The Cellular Consultant (2IC) will deliver cellular products and services to customers, ensuring their needs are met while driving profitability for the Business Unit. This position supports contract sales and provides a customer‑centric experience in a retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual contract targets to maximise Business Unit profitability.
• Promote contract‑based cellular products and services to customers.
• Process contract applications in line with established procedures.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, customer‑focused manner.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and manage own workload.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• 1–2 years of retail industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work under targets and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Management Information Systems.
• Knowledge of SAP systems.
• Familiarity with Vodacom C3D, M2, MTN Ilula, OMS, Telkom CRM, AVS, PayJoy and Vumatel platforms.
• Understanding of contract services, risk management and credit sales processes.
