Case Administrator – Hospital

About the role

The Case Administrator will support case managers at Life Springs Parkland Hospital, handling low‑risk, low‑cost cases and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist case managers to compile motivations and submit them to funders.
• Manage real‑time and manual messaging for assigned cases, including requests, responses, rejections and submissions.
• Ensure accurate submission of accounts to funders and correct coding of patient accounts.
• Monitor compliance with service level agreements, identify gaps and risks, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 9001 standards, handle alerts, incidents and stakeholder complaints.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders (nursing, pharmacy, business hubs) and external stakeholders, providing feedback and training on contracts.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Knowledge of hospital patient services and case management processes.
• Understanding of CPT & ICD coding and funder contracts.
• Computer proficiency.
