About the role
Camera Room Operators are highly trained security personnel who operate closed‑circuit television (CCTV) systems in large retail stores or businesses. They sit within the management team and collect crucial information about irregularities, administrative errors, and policy breaches.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems across the premises.
- Collect and analyse video material to identify suspicious or surreptitious activity.
- Report irregularities committed by customers or staff and document administrative errors.
Required profile
- Highly trained security personnel with an objective, outsider perspective.
- Ability to work as part of the business management team and uphold company policies.
