Call Center Agent

About the role

Siqalo Foods is looking for a Call Center Agent to join its Spread division in Boksburg. The role involves handling inbound and outbound sales orders, responding to customer queries, and ensuring accurate order processing through the company's CRM system.

Key responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound sales orders, capture details accurately and confirm with customers.
• Enter orders and related activities into the CRM, ensuring no orders are missed before the cut‑off time.
• Generate and email add‑on and JIT product orders, and provide daily call lists to the Call Center Facilitator.
• Run daily checks on VAO5, futuristic orders, duplications and activity reports.
• Inform customers of load exceptions, stock outs, and re‑book short deliveries.
• Update customer databases, call lists and activity logs continuously.
• Communicate delivery schedules, stock issues and complaints to depot staff, PSCs and customer care teams.
• Maintain an organized workstation, file orders daily and administer pick‑up slips.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 equivalent; Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Customer Service, Sales or Marketing is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call‑center environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
