Buyer – Wearables, Networking & Storage

About the role

The Buyer will support the growth of the Merchandise Division by building balanced assortments across Wearables, Networking and Storage categories. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams and retail heads to ensure the right products reach the market at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and present quarterly product statistics, range reviews and post‑season analyses using internal and external trend data.
• Manage the product lifecycle from design and briefing through development to live launch on site.
• Develop exit strategies for discontinued ranges while protecting overall margin.
• Negotiate pricing, exclusive offers and value‑added stock with suppliers, maintaining strong relationships.
• Monitor critical‑path timelines, flagging potential stock or delivery shortfalls.
• Produce weekly trade‑feedback reports, analysing data to drive sell‑through and minimise markdowns.
• Ensure product quality meets division standards and support Marketing & Operations in delivering a world‑class customer experience.
• Lead, mentor and develop Planners, fostering a results‑driven team environment.
• Identify process improvements to maximise efficiency and stay ahead of market trends.
